Joinery

The goal of the joinery project was to connect two natural artifacts with a linear material. For my natural artifacts, I chose a Black Eyed Suzan and a beetle. I chose the flower because of its bright orange colored petals. As I was joining the two artifacts I wanted the to look natural. Therefor I joined them to look like the beetle was eating the flower. In the process of working with the beetle I decided to name it Susan because of the type of flower.
